Furka Pass, Switzerland

Furka Pass sits at 2,429 metres, linking Gletsch in Valais with Realp in Uri. The assignment was landscape photography in the high Alps – but the pass held more than open terrain. Alongside the mountain ridge and shifting light, we documented decommissioned military bunkers built to resemble alpine chalets, and objects left behind in the landscape.
