ISS Switzerland commissioned a photo series during the Covid-19 shutdown — a moment when the facilities they manage had gone quiet. The assignment was to document that absence, and the people who kept working through it: facility managers photographed in empty stadiums, concert halls, and lecture halls across Switzerland. Locations included the Letzigrund in Zurich, the LAC in Lugano, Swisscom’s offices, and the St. Jakob-Park in Basel. The subject was not the emptiness itself, but the work that continued inside it.
