Charlie Duke for The Telegraph Magazine, UK
Portrait commission for The Telegraph Magazine’s lunar special marking the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, produced in partnership with Omega. Charlie Duke served as CAPCOM during the mission and walked on the moon as part of the Apollo 16 crew in April 1972 – at 36, the youngest person to do so. Duke is wearing an Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary limited edition. The sitting took place at Omega headquarters in Biel, Switzerland.
The portrait was made for Omega, alongside the new Bienne building and the Vanity Fair space collection.
