Omega for Telegraph Luxury, London, UK

Omega invited us to photograph the opening of its new production building at the brand’s headquarters in Biel, a structure designed by Shigeru Ban. The assignment was a spread for Telegraph Luxury, the bi-annual magazine from Telegraph Media Group. We worked across the building’s public and production spaces. The architecture, the manufacturing floors, the detail of a facility built to the tolerances watchmaking requires.

Shigeru Ban’s building for Omega is a timber structure with daylight as part of its design. Public areas and production floors were covered in one pass, under the same rules that apply to anyone on the floor: nothing moved, no bench interrupted.
