Cityscape photography made between assignments in Hong Kong. The city offers almost no neutral ground: density, signage and movement compress into every frame. We made these images from an elevated position above a busy intersection in Kowloon. They show pedestrians crossing, traffic and a skyline built without pause. Free work, no brief.

Hong Kong in the 2000s, a city with no visual downtime. In this Hong Kong cityscape photography, the chaos finds its order from above Kowloon’s intersections. Road markings set the grid, and pedestrian flows move through it in shifting patterns. At twilight the light comes back off the asphalt, and the city becomes an unscripted stage.
