Mechtop, Wangen bei Olten, Switzerland

Mechtop AG in Wangen bei Olten builds steel structures, pressure vessels, conveyor systems and pipeline installations. The company was founded in 1995 and employs over 50 people. The assignment covered Mechtop steel fabrication photography for a new company brochure and website. A long-term relationship followed, including corporate video and ongoing documentation of client projects on location. Mechtop describes its own work as «Mechanics in Motion», and the videos keep to that.

Mechtop covers the whole chain in-house: feasibility study, engineering, fabrication, installation on site, maintenance. That is what the pictures had to carry. The Mechtop steel fabrication photography shows conveyor systems, automation and hand work in one frame, in running production, not staged. The material went into the brochure and website, and into the reference projects the company shows to prospective clients.
