Megasol, Langenthal, Switzerland

Megasol manufactures solar modules at its production facility in Langenthal. That makes it one of the few fully integrated solar manufacturers in Europe. The assignment covered the production line. It is a 40-megawatt automated process for glass-glass modules and custom configurations. We made the Megasol solar manufacturing photography for corporate use. It documents a production environment where the process itself is the subject.

Much of what Megasol builds becomes part of the building itself. Megasol sizes, shapes and colours the modules to replace roof tiles or facade cladding, so few runs are identical. On the line that shows up as constant changeover. Our Megasol solar manufacturing photography followed the process at its own pace. We used the light in the hall as it was.
