Rego-Fix, Tenniken, Switzerland
Rego-Fix develops and manufactures precision tool clamping systems at its headquarters in Tenniken, Basel-Landschaft. Rego-Fix tool clamping photography for the website and brand materials documented production, tools in use and the people on the floor: first for the original site launch, then again a decade later with new additions. Several shots required open machine access to show the machining process in full motion.
Rego-Fix developed the ER collet in 1972; it became the DIN standard the industry still uses. The powRgrip system clamps a tool mechanically in under ten seconds, without heat or hydraulics. The Rego-Fix tool clamping photography had to make both legible: the clamping detail up close, and the machining itself with the enclosure open and coolant running.
