Burckhardt Compression, Ningbo, China

Industrial photography for Burckhardt Compression in Ningbo, one of China’s major industrial hubs. The assignment covered both the local BC facility and customer sites in the region – among them a CNOOC LNG terminal in Zhejiang province, where BC compressor systems are in operation. The brief was to document the technology in its actual environment: large-scale infrastructure, working conditions, no staging.

Part of a body of work for Burckhardt Compression that also covers Winterthur, Shenyang, Busan and Pune. The SYCC foundry in Shenyang, where compressor components are cast on site, is documented separately.
