Clariant, Pratteln, Switzerland

Clariant commissioned portrait photography for their Integrated Report, produced at the group’s corporate centre in Pratteln. The brief centred on people: employees and management photographed against the report’s theme of curiosity as a driver of progress. Over several years of collaboration, the portrait series grew into a consistent visual language running through the annual report cycle.

Portraits at headquarters are made in the gaps in people’s day, often fifteen minutes each. A fixed, repeatable set-up made that possible and held the Clariant portrait photography together across several report cycles and a long list of sitters.

The CGI visuals produced for the same Integrated Report are shown separately. Location photography from four European production sites, Germany, France, Italy and Poland, as well as production site photography from Höchst and Moosburg are also part of this collaboration.
