Audemars Piguet, Le Brassus, Switzerland
Audemars Piguet commissioned documentation of the manufacturing process behind the Code 11.59 case – one of the more technically demanding components the manufacture produces. The case requires a sequence of specialized tooling and hand-finishing steps to achieve its multifaceted curved geometry. We photographed each stage in the production chain: from raw material to the finished surface. The brief was precision, not atmosphere.
More watchmaking work: H. Moser & Cie., Omega, Patek Philippe, and Richard Mille.
